Literature review is an important component of any research - be it for doctoral thesis/ dissertation or for writing a paper for publication purpose. It is common that students feel overwhelmed, confused and lack of focus while reviewing literature. By considering this issue, this webinar will provide some guidance to perform a constructive review of the relevant literature and will suggest some tips to avoid common mistakes that the examiners usually spot in students' writing.

Dr. Farzana Quoquab is an Associate Professor at Azman Hashim International Business School, UTM. She is an active researcher and managed to secure several research grants since 2014 such as FRGS, GUP-1, GUP-2 and CWGS. She is the recipient of several awards such as the ‘Excellent Service Awards', ‘Faculty Award for Research’ and ‘Highly Commended Award’. She has graduated 6 PhD students, among which one student received the 'Best Student Award' for the quality of his thesis. Dr. Farzana has published five books. One of these books is published by Pearson, Malaysia entitled, Crafting Literature Review: A Guide for Doctoral Students. She has published about 40 research articles in various international refereed journals. Her current research interest includes Consumer Behavior, Services Marketing, Green Marketing, and Work Ethics & Values.
